Manufacturing of the turnbuckle of chain
Ondráček, Pavel ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of the production technology of a chain tensioner. It is a spatial component made of 1.5 mm thick steel sheet with galvanized surface treatment. DC01 steel was selected as the most suitable material. When considering the production technologies, the production in a combined process tool was selected as the most efficient one for the series of 20,000 pieces. Regarding the tool of more complex design including springs, the production will be done in four steps on the LEN 63 eccentric press with accessories used for feeding and unwinding the metal sheet belt from the coil. The final price of the chain tensioner including the bolt and two nuts is 26 CZK.
Manufacturing of a Cable Holder
Šimka, Radek ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis proposes a design for the production technology of the cabling holder, situated in the outdoor part of the air conditioner. This product is made of steel sheet DC01 with a thickness of 1 mm. The production of this holder is set to be 200 000 pieces per year. A progressive die tool was selected as the most suitable type of production technology, based on a literature study of various production technologies. This enables to combine cutting and bending of steel sheets with the use of one tool device. Manufacture will be performed using a mechanical eccentric press LEN 63 C. All the necessary requirements of this device are satisfactory for the production.
The Antenna Bracket Manufacturing by a Compound Tool
Lipka, Ondřej ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on the concept of large-lot manufacturing of sheet metal component made from DC01 steel. Based on forethought, the method of compound tool combining shearing and bending was chosen. The theoretical part analyses used technologies in detail. In the next part specific course of manufacture was created and supplied with technological calculations. Based on all needed facts the tool was designed and after that forming machine, LDC 160 crank press, was chosen. At the end the usability of designed concept was confirmed with economical calculations.
Production of the Folding meter lock
Václavek, Petr ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The thesis proposes a concept of manufacturing the folding meter lock. The part is made from DC01+LC steel of 0,3 mm thickness. The series size is 100 000 pcs/year. A forming in a progressive combination tool combining shearing, bending and stamping was chosen for the production, based on the analysis of possible solutions. The tool, designed on the basis of literary research of used technologies, produces the part in eleven steps exerting maximal force of 38,5 kN. The production will take place on an eccentric press LEN 40 C. The market price of 3,38 Kč for one piece was established by the technical and economic evaluation.
Production of casing
Hájek, Pavel ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master’s project describes a proposal for manufacturing technology of a horizontal boring machine case. This case is manufactured by HESTEGO a.s. from a DC01 steel sheet, which is 2 mm thick and its production series is 200 pieces a year. Punching and bending were chosen as the most suitable methods from the considered manufacturing technologies. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a study of the chosen manufacturing technologies. Based on the analysis of the technological calculations and the available tools in the manufacturing company, a technological procedure was designed and these machines were chosen: punching machine TruPunch 5000 a servo-electronic press brake SAFAN E – BRAKE 100–3100. Technical and economical evaluation is also included in the proposal.
Optimisation of the punching process on the TruPunch 1000 machine
Kudláč, Lukáš ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Content of this bachelor thesis is the suggestion of optimisation of punching process on the TruPunch 1000 in Limid Mohelno s.r.o. Case of device for induction heating is manufactured from steel DC01 with thickness 1 mm. To manufacturing of the evolved shape was as the most advantageous technology determined the punching technology. Principle and fundamentals of punching are described in the theoretical part of this thesis. In the practical part is suggested optimisation including technical and economical evaluation and comparison of the prices for original and new suggested process.
Part Manufacturing by Using Hydroforming and Its Optimization
Chrz, Jan ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis presents an analysis and optimization of the manufacturing process of a part using the technology of parallel hydroforming. Two circular blanks made of DC01 steel with a thickness of 1 mm serve as a semi-manufactured part. In one of the blanks, the supply of the forming medium is constructed using Flowdrill technology. Subsequently, the two blanks are laser welded together and then formed. Numerical simulation using PAM-STAMP software was used to analyse the manufacturing process. This analysis provided information on wall thinning, deformation size, critical points on the product and springback. The numerical simulation was verified on the basis of comparison with an experiment. The criterion for verification was the course of the thickness of the part. Based on the results of the simulation, an optimization is performed in the thesis. It consists in determining the minimum required pressure of the forming medium for pressing the part, particularly for different distances between the two formed sheets.
Design of lighting cover production
Bahula, Jan ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The project elaborated design of technology production of the lighting cover – rotating extract from the deep drawing sheet iron DC01 0,5 mm thick. Pursuant to analyses of production and calculation was designed drawing in conventional instrument with holder in one operation and the cup is being wiped by the die. The drawing instrument make use of standardised and construction components and it is solving forms of customary stool clamped by clamps on the hydraulic press CUPS 40 DEU, with nominal tensile force 400 kN. Drawing punch and drawing die are produced from alloyed instrumental steel 19 436.9.
Production concept of adjustable holder
Slavík, Tomáš ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The discussed issue was the production of the body of the adjustable universal holder for license plates, blinkers, and reflectors for Yamaha motorcycles. The material chosen for the production of the component was DC01 steel with a thickness of 3 mm and the size of the series is 120 000 pieces per year. After evaluating considered production variants, it was decided that the part will be made in compound tool that combine shearing and bending operations. The part will be produced by four shearing operations, three inter-shearing operations, one bending operation and by shearing the finished component from the sheet metal strip. Sheet metal coil was selected as the semi-finished product, with a material usage rate of 51,46%. Based on technological calculations, it was decided that the eccentric press DM400 from Formetal will be used for production. The tool design with a spring floating guide was chosen and his parameters were derived from previous calculations and the selected production process.
Production of a clamp
Svoboda, Petr ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis presents a proposal for the production technology of the clamp in the company FERRUM s.r.o. It is used to connect floor grates to the supporting structure. It is manufactured from 2 mm thick DC01 sheet metal in a series of 3,500 pieces per month with subsequent surface treatment in the form of hot-dip galvanizing. From the proposed production possibilities, the technology of shearing and bending in a combined tool was chosen. Production takes place in four steps, in the first the outer contour is trimmed, in the second the short arms are bent, in the third the hole for the screw is cut, in the last the long arm is bent, and the part is separated from the rest of the blank. The design of the tool has been developed considering the production capabilities of the company's machining centre. These include turning, milling, drilling and grinding. The production requires a forming force of 387 kN and will be carried out on a LEN 63 C eccentric press located in the company's machine park.
